CLIP ON ACCESSORY TO THE EXISTING HANDLES
Hands-free handles, are developed, keeping in mind the frequency with which people open and close doors, which is a lot. It is understandable that replacement of door handles would cost big dollars for corporates and will become an added expense for small scale businesses.
The design intervention in this case is via developing ‘clip on accessories’ for existing handles that enable opening and closing off doors with the forearm instead of our bare hands. This prevents the transfer of germs from one hand to another in grocery stores, universities, offices etc
Designed keeping in mind the frequency of opening and closing doors in our daily lives.
